Eye Institute is proud to announce their latest technological procedure
offering a higher quality of vision. This technology breakthrough
procedure, CUSTOMCORNEA®, uses a combination of the WaveFront
technology and the LADARVISION 4000 laser system which is currently
used to perform the LASIK procedure.
In the
past, optical problems such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism could
be diagnosed and treated with glasses, contacts, or LASIK surgery.
There are other optical problems with the eye which can account for
up to 20% of some people's visual difficulties. The CUSTOMCORNEA®
procedure can treat these, giving the potential to have a higher quality
of vision similar to the difference between normal television and
hi-definition television.
